The purpose of this studio is to use art to call attention to some important interrelated social issues:

• Blue-collar workers build and maintain our communities, our country and our world. In this country these incredible hard-working people are often looked down upon or are treated as if they are invisible. As a result, fewer people are going into the trades and there is a shortage of skilled tradespeople. 

• Our infrastructure is crumbling and our planet is sick. It is past time to learn how to live green, reduce waste, and fix the energy crisis.

• Green-collar industries are the future.
